Professional auto paint correction

Car paint correction is a specialised process that requires experience and the right equipment. Unlike basic polishing, paint correction focuses on safely levelling paint defects while preserving the integrity of your clear coat. Clarity assesses each vehicle individually and tailors the correction process based on paint condition, vehicle age and usage. Our goal is to achieve the best possible improvement while protecting your vehicle long term.

Can paint correction fix swirl marks and scratches?

Paint correction is designed to reduce or remove common paint defects caused by everyday driving, improper washing, and environmental exposure. It improves swirl marks, light scratches, wash-induced marring, oxidation, faded paint, buffer marks, holograms, water spot etching, plus minor clear coat defects.

Each vehicle is assessed honestly, with a clear explanation of the level of improvement achievable before any work begins. Paint correction does not address dents on car or marine surfaces.

Professional car paint correction process

We use high speed industry-leading paint correction apparatus, polishing tools and a cutting compound to bring your car’s paintwork back to new. We will tailor a customised paint correction configuration with our machines, compound/polishes and pads to maximise the achievable finish to your paintwork. So while we can’t do anything about the kilometres you’ve clocked up, we can help with scratches, dints, and day-to-day damage with a rejuvenating paint correction. Ready to remove imperfections and restore your shine to original or better?

Wind back the clock on your car’s paintwork

Over time, even well maintained vehicles begin to lose their shine. Exposure to UV radiation, road grime, bird droppings and improper washing slowly wears down your clear coat, leaving paintwork dull, scratched or faded.

Car paint correction is designed to restore clarity and gloss by safely removing surface defects from the paint. Through a controlled polishing process, we reduce imperfections and rejuvenate your paintwork, bringing it closer to its original finish.

Paint Correction FAQ

What is paint correction and how is it different from a standard detail?

Paint correction is a specialised process that removes imperfections in your vehicle’s clear coat, such as swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation and dullness. Unlike a standard wash or detail, paint correction uses machine polishing and professional compounds to permanently improve the paint’s appearance, not just mask defects.

How much improvement can I expect from paint correction?

The level of improvement depends on the package you choose. Stage 1 removes approximately 50–65% of defects, Stage 2 removes around 66–85%, and Stage 3 can remove up to 95% for a near-perfect mirror finish. We tailor every correction to your vehicle’s paint condition to achieve the best possible result.

Will paint correction remove all scratches and damage?

Paint correction significantly improves most swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation and blemishes. Very deep scratches, stone chips or clear coat failure may require wet sanding or may not be fully removable. We always assess your vehicle first and explain what is realistically achievable before starting.

Do you come to my location?

Yes. We are fully mobile and come to you anywhere in the Penrith and Sydney area at no extra cost. Whether you’re at home, work, a car yard or elsewhere, we bring all the professional equipment needed to complete the job.

How long will the results last?

Paint correction permanently removes defects, but ongoing exposure to the environment and improper washing can cause new imperfections over time. To maintain your results, we recommend proper wash techniques and protecting your paint with a ceramic coating or sealant.
